“The future belongs to those who learn skills and and combine them in creative ways.” – Robert Greene
The biggest lesson that many Americans have learned during this pandemic is those with transferable skills will survive the storm. Let me be clear I am not taking jabs at anyone and their current employment or non employment situation. Although I do believe if an individual is still able to work a 9 to 5 that person is fortunate but that does not mean that income is sustaining that person. Having one stream of income can be a strain on a person. Almost all of your money goes to bills first. Another way to look at it is like this. $15 per hour on a 40 work week equates to $31,200 annually. After taxes that might as well be crumbs unless that person works a second job, married, lives with room mates, or family then they are living paycheck to paycheck. Despite this I believe that if a person has access to the internet, motivation, and discipline they can change the trajectory of their lives.
Each day we use items and devices that need to be repaired whether it is a phone, tablet, or a car. Sometimes we have to spend money to get our cell phones fixed or replaced if we drop it. Also our car needs to be tuned up or tire needs to be replaced. Maybe you do not want have to pay other people to fix this for you. Maybe you want to learn how to do it yourself but you have no idea where to start. Well the best website with step-by-step guides is called IFIXIT. Here is the site link https://www.ifixit.com/

This website is amazing and any person can learn new skills from it. I believe once an individual learns how to fix devices or cars they are to create additional income. Also they can share this family and friends. If you have transferable skills that solve problems you will never starve, never become stagnant.
