How To Transcribe Audio

I. Find a silent space.

II. Plug yourself in.

III. Open a blank Google Doc.

IV. Open the Voice Typing Tool.

V. Make Sure Typing Tool Works.

VI. Make sure your microphone is turned on and the language is set.

VII. Click the recording button, and being speaking.

VIII. Watch along as you transcribe.

You can also transcribe with Microsoft.

There are two ways to transcribe with Microsoft. The first way is to record directly in word and the second way is to upload an file. An individual can record directly in Word for web while taking notes in the canvas and then transcribe the recording.

I. Sign into Microsoft 365, using the new Microsoft Edge or Chrome.

II. Go to Home-Dictate drop down-Transcribe

III. In the Transcribe pane, select Start recording.

IV. Allow the browser permission to use your mic.
